Tackletwill
We have a national reputation for our quality tackletwill work and it’s no wonder. We use only the finest twill available (the same twill used by Major League Baseball) and all of our tackletwill is sewn the old-fashioned way - by hand and one at a time. We can also hand-cut your tackletwill in literally hundreds of athletic fonts, especially our own Cisco Script, and can even produce many designs and logos in tackletwill as well.
Laser Cutting
All of our tackletwill work and some of our screen-printing work as well is produced on our state-of-the-art computerized laser cutting system. Laser cutting gives us crisp, sharp edges on our tackletwill letters and designs and the ability to cut multiple layers, thus making it more affordable for the customer. When doing multiple color work, the laser automatically separates the colors, which eliminates the 'spacing' problem that occurs when attempting to do it by hand.
The Tackletwill Process
This process involves using a heavyweight “twill” material and sewing it on to the applicable garment. It is an extremely durable process and can stand up to a lot of abuse. The material can be cut with a laser into a variety of fonts and graphics but you are somewhat limited by size since each area of a particular design needs to be large enough to stitch. It can be done in multi-color but each color adds additional weight.
